July 2009 Sales Tip
![]()
As with many other industries, the technology sector has been heavily affected by the global economic crisis, presenting two major challenges for ISPs:
- Retention and attraction of subscribers
- Cost reduction
The first point is key and very well understood by the ISPs, whose marketing campaigns are becoming more aggressive and whose prices are being significantly reduced. In addition, reducing operational costs is a must in order to offer competitive prices to the end user. As a result, it is reasonable to think: Wouldn't it be great to have just one solution that can work for both purposes? Well, one unique solution already exists: SlipStream SP.
Think about this: Usually the subscriber does not have the ideal speed due to different factors such as latency, network congestion, etc. At SlipStream Data, we can proudly say that our technology improves on these factors significantly, helping ISPs exceed customer expectations by delivering a faster and safer Internet connection. Many of our current customers can confirm that SlipStream SP accelerates up to 5 times on high speed broadband connections through cable, DSL, WiMax, etc.
Likewise, SlipStream SP reduces our customers' operational costs. Our unique algorithm is the best technology available in the market, producing higher compression ratios than any other technologies. Our customers pay a fraction of what they previously paid for bandwidth because of reduced network traffic.
As can be appreciated, SlipStream SP works every day to maintain our position as the best compression and acceleration technology available. Also, I am very happy to announce that a new version of SlipStream SP will be released in late 2009 (SP 7.0 for Dial-up and Broadband), with new features geared especially to broadband users.
I look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions soon!
Sincerely,
Carlos Jesus
