Independent tests conducted by Veritest, a leading provider of comprehnsive product testing, again confirmed that SlipStream SP delivers the fastest Web and email acceleration.
SlipStream's Web and email acceleration product outperformed the competition in Internet BenchMark testing conducted by VeriTest. These tests were performed on SlipStream SP3.2 - the then current version.
SlipStream SP delivered as much as a 7.33x gain in time-to-download of first-view Web pages, when compared to a non-accelerated service
- SlipStream SP's maximum gain was more than 40% higher than the competition's maximum gain
- The competition took 26.5% longer than SlipStream SP to download first view Web pages, on average
- SlipStream SP improved first view Web page download times by 232% compared to a non-accelerated service, on average
- For both first and repeat views, SlipStream SP showed better consistency in Web page download times (i.e. lower standard deviation) compared to the competition
- SlipStream SP compressed email messages and attachments more than 4.5x (for Microsoft Outlook® and Microsoft Outlook Express®)
- SlipStream SP blocked annoying pop-ups
- The SlipStream SP client required significantly less hard disk space than competitive solutions
