How Does Slipstream SP Work?

SlipStream uses patented acceleration, compression and network optimization to enhance the online experience for dial and broadband subscribers, while significantly reducing bandwidth requirements. SlipStream uses adaptive data compression, combined with caching and network optimization, to streamline text, graphics, Flash and Web-based emails, including attachments. SlipStream technology features industry-leading lossy and lossless compression algorithms, achieving compression of HTML and XML of up to 50 times.

Lightweight, Full-Featured Client

The lightweight, fully brandable client is easy to install and requires no end-user configuration. SlipStream SP6.0 is available for most common desktop operating systems, including Windows® and Mac OS® X, and supports multiple connectivity modes and protocols. SlipStream SP6.0 features automatic browser integration with Microsoft Internet Explorer® and Firefox® (and other browsers using manual proxy settings). ISPs also have the option to include privacy manager, integrated diagnostics and the proprietary SlipStream Toolbar.

SlipStream SP6.0 seamlessly integrates into your existing network. The SlipStream server features quick and easy installation, full statistical monitoring, management and administration capabilities, which enables better performance evaluation and service utilization. SDK, APIs and other customization tools are also available to accommodate special requirements.
