SlipStream Data Technology Powers New Accelerated Dial-up Service From StarNet
StarNet re-launches MegaSPEED service offering to ISP community
WATERLOO, Ontario, November 19, 2003 - SlipStream Data Inc. today announced that StarNet(TM), Inc., one of the largest wholesale dial-up access providers in the United States, has incorporated its data compression technology to re-launch MegaSPEED. StarNet's MegaSPEED is an accelerated dial-up service resold through its ISPs (Internet Service Providers), which gives consumers broadband-quality speed by increasing browsing and email downloading by up to five times.
This partnership solidifies SlipStream's stranglehold within the ISP community for providing accelerated dial-up services. Over the past nine months, SlipStream has signed up more than 500 ISPs including United Online for their NetZero and Juno solutions, as well as AOL Canada. The partnership also gives StarNet a chance to extend and bolster its service offering within the ISP community.

StarNet will be offering MegaSPEED, featuring the SlipStream Accelerator, via two service offerings: MegaSPEED Uniform Service and MegaSPEED Select Service. Both services allow for branding of the web and email acceleration. The service is available at: http://www.getmespeed.com.
