Software Developer - Compression for Mobile Devices

Responsibilities for the position include:
- Gathering technical requirements
- Designing and applying compression and optimization technologies
- Implementing and optimizing compression and optimization software in C/C++ for servers and mobile devices
- Profiling software performance to ensure that requirements are met

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Expert C/C++ programming skills
- Experience with algorithm design and optimization
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering preferred
Additional assets:
- Knowledge of data compression (Lempel-Ziv, arithmetic coding, Huffman coding)
- Experience with designing algorithms for a mobile device
