Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Intimate understanding of standard networking protocols: IP, UDP, TCP (Reno, Westwood), HTTP
- Extensive experience with development of highly concurrent and highly scalable network applications
- High-level familiarity with industry standard audio/video codecs (MP3, AAC, H.26x, MPEG-4 Part 2, Sorenson Video, On2 VP6)
- High-level familiarity with industry standard audio/video containers (AVI, MP4, MOV, FLV)
- Expert C/C++ programming skills; code will target all of Windows, Linux and BlackBerry embedded platforms
- Java (J2EE, J2ME, RIM Java SDK) programming skills; code will target all of Windows, Linux and BlackBerry embedded platforms
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering preferred; minimum average of 75%
