AOL & Star Choice offer broadband alternative

AOL Canada and satellite TV provider Star Choice Communications Inc. have teamed up to provide faster Internet access to those Canadians who live in areas not served by broadband.

AOL Canada refers to the Slipstream-enabled system as "a near-broadband Internet experience," and says it's "as fast as some of the DSL light offerings available."
